Security is important to all of us.
As a company, we use our accounting platform, Imbercal, every day. Ensuring that Imbercal remains secure is crucial to protecting our own data. The security of your information is required for our success as a business. Below are some of the steps we take to ensure that your data is secure.
We've been doing this for a long time. We're good at it. Our team members are experienced and keep their skills up to date as industry best practices evolve. We’ve built Imbercal with security as a priority from the ground up. Customer data is the most important thing here and when it comes to protecting it, we take things very seriously.
When connecting to Imbercal your session is encrypted with modern cryptography. We use TLS 1.2. and the connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_128_GCM and uses ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.
The identity of the website is verified by COMODO RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA. We monitor the security community closely and ensure we respond to new vulnerabilities as they are discovered.
Our servers are located in Rackspace UK data centers. They've devoted an entire portion of their site to explaining their security measures, which you can find here: http://www.rackspace.co.uk/certifications/iso-270012005-information-security
Security measures for users
The biggest security risk to any online system is usually the behavior of its users. We will provide you with the tools you need to protect your own data. For example, we log every time your account is signed in to, noting the device used and location of the connection, and make these access logs available should you need them.
Confidentiality & Trust
We regard the information you input to your Imbercal account as private and confidential to your business. We place strict controls over our employees’ access to internal data and are committed to ensuring that your data is never seen by anyone who should not see it.
